Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop at the early stage of your career reporting to the Engineering Manager who will act as your coach and mentor.
We are looking for the following skills:
-Highly organised and able to plan, prioritise and deliver projects independently.
-Maintain project and company documentation.
-Undertake vessel surveys and inspections globally.
-Carry out design and engineering tasks, including the design of piping systems, structural modifications and other marine systems.
-Excellent communicator with strong written and spoken English language, and with the ability to deliver technical reports and documentation.
-Ability to manage and supervise subcontractors & suppliers as well as client’s interfacing.
-Highly self-motivated and willing to learn and develop all-round skills beyond just engineering.
-Willing to travel globally depending upon the requirements of the projects at the time.
-Ability to work in a small team with a highly positive can-do attitude.
Knowledge and Qualifications
-1 to 2 years of experience in an engineering position is preferred but is not mandatory.
-Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
-Awareness\knowledge of ship’s marine and electrical systems.
-Demonstrate efficient use of Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Project and other related engineering software.
